Managing workspaces and projects

• Can I delete users?
  
  No, you can't delete them. But what's just as good, you can remove them from your workspace so they won't have access to it anymore. Works just as well as deleting.
  
• What about user permissions?
  

  Toggl has three user levels: workspace manager, project manager and your ordinary user. There can be several of each.
  
  Workspace manager - can change workspace properties, can change and view data for projects they are not members of.
  
  Project manager - can change and view project data on projects they are members of.
  
  Standard users - can change and view their own data and general data on the projects they are members of.

  
  
• If I am the administrator of a workspace and I want to leave it, but there are team members who are still using the workspace, can I still leave?
  
  You may not leave a workspace if you are the administrator and there are others still using the workspace. However, you can change the administrator of the workspace to one of the remaining team members, and then you may leave.
  
• Can I archive my completed projects?
  
  Under project details you can click on the Close project button which marks the project inactive and hides it from the project list. You can view it when clicking the Show inactive projects link on the top right corner of project list view. Under project details you can also open the project again if necessary.
  
• How do I manage projects with subprojects or clearly defined development stages?
  
  The best solution is to create a different project for each subproject so you can analyse the use of time per subproject and per user (if necessary). You can assemble a different team for each project and keep an eye on how they are doing. In the reports you can filter the results by project or by user or both.
